Philly ConnectED, brought to you by FATE, is a city-wide initiative to connect STEM technology programs with great schools, talented students, and available funding to make it happen.
Amazing things happen when stakeholders, facilitators, & students are connected together and celebrated for making technology a vibrant part of early education in the City of Brotherly Love.
There’s no question that teaching the students of Philadelphia how to leverage technology know-how into a bright and successful future is a great idea – but without connecting schools, dedicated instructors, community awareness, and funding – a great idea is where it stops. Philly ConnectED brings together these key ingredients for our and our partners’ STEM program in Philadelphia.
Technology in schools is only as valuable as the instructors whom use it to teach. Connecting great instructors with eager students and the technology required to facilitate the experience of learning is what Philly ConnectED is all about!
The best way to reward the participating students and reinforce the importance of our mission to the community is celebrating their success. All of our programs strive to highlight the hardwork of the participating students by showcasing their work through events, sharing their stories, and online content curation.
